Contains the following type of material: oral history transcript. The papers consists of a transcript of an oral interview of Brigadier General Theodore M. Osborne by Lieutenant Colonel Chalmer D. George, conducted as part of MHI's Senior Officer Oral History Program. The interview discussed Osborne's career in the United States (U.S.) Army including assignments to the southern part of Persia (Iran), Army Services Forces, the investigation of the Mead Committee, planning for overall industrial mobilization, prepared demobilization plan, reduction of forces and supplies overseas, and Army Service Forces with flow of supplies in Iran. It also includes a biographical sketch of Lieutenant Colonel Chalmer D. George.
